Baby Chiffon/Seri Ayu

Absolutely love this cute little chiffons. Has a little sweetness and salt.


4 eggs
210 gm sugar
1/2 tsp pandan paste
300 gm flour
1 tsp b.powder
1 tsp salt
250 ml coconut milk
2 tsp ovalette

1 packet coconut mixed with 1 tbsp cornstarch and 1/4 tsp salt
  • Beat eggs, ovalette and sugar till light and fluffy. 
  • Mix coconut milk, pandan paste and salt in a bowl.  Add flour and milk alternately into the egg mixture.
  • Take 1/2 tsp coconut and press into the mould, then scoop in a little of the mixture. 
  • Steam the mini chiffons for about 10 - 15 minutes.  Cool it before taking it off the mould.
